I suppose the sexual orientation of celebrities is part of the whole gossip scene. I guess if you are a celebrity, i.e. in the public eye, it comes with the turf, even though it seems so damn unfair. But what I don’t understand about it all is this: why is it always about whether so-and-so is “gay”? Why are the gossipmongers not asking if (or saying) so-and-so is “bisexual”? Is it because the word “bisexual” doesn’t have the same readership drawing power for the media as the word “gay” does?

Without naming names — because I couldn’t care less about the sexual orientation of celebrities — the latest gossip about a married celebrity with children (i.e. in a hetero relationship) is that the person is gay. Hmm . . . If I were to speculate about that person (which is unlikely), the word “bisexual” would surely come to mind before the word “gay” did . . .

Just sayin’ . . .
