Montreal’s World Naked Bike Ride, Part 2

The nighttime edition of the Montreal World Naked Bike Ride takes place on Aug. 2. I’ve done a post on my Gazette blog about the event, with a lengthy excerpt from WNBR’s Wiki page. You can read about it there. It starts at 10 p.m. at Dorchester Square in downtown Montreal.

Scott RedCloud, one of the organizers of the event, sent me a link to a YouTube video report about the daytime event, which took place July 5th. It’s kinda shaky, but it’s still cool and gives you an idea of what it all looked like.

Here it is:

  1. I missed ours in Halifax again! The scheduled date was the same day the hurricane hit Nova Scotia, and the rain date was the week after. Then I heard it wasn’t going to happen then either, so I figured I’d wait for the next year…again. So then I found out it happened the week after that! Not sure how I didn’t hear the announcement, or if they even had a good turnout. I have yet to participate in a nude bike ride. Oh well, once again I say–wait until next year!
