I’ve been double posting a lot of my blog posts for the past year or so, here and on The Gazette site — mostly for the benefit of international (re: not in Canada) readers so that they wouldn’t have to deal with the paper’s paywall.
But with some major changes coming next week to our paper’s site, I’ve been asked not to double post anymore.
So, here’s the plan: this blog will still have the bulk of my posts. But when I do a post on the Gazette site, I’ll do a pointer here to it, so that you can click the link, read it there, and come back here and discuss it, if you want. As far as I know, the Gazette paywall only kicks in for readers outside of Quebec after 10 or more clicks, so you should be able to access most of the pointer links.
Or you could take out a subscription and read all the fabulous stuff we have there . . . smiles.
The post following this one is a pointer, just to give you an example of how it will work.
Cheers
