Grrr . . . Another reason I will never buy an American car is because of the state where they are made: Michigan.
I am sad to see that Michigan is among four U.S. states that won a court ruling today upholding bans on same-sex marriage.
That any states in this day and age would seek to deny equal rights to LGBT people is an abomination.
Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and Tennessee are a disgrace to America.
Shame on them, and all other states that deny LGBT people equality.
And shame on the judges who allow bigots to oppress people.
A sad day for America, indeed.

I’m sorry to say that our state, Wisconsin, had/has a gay marriage ban; I’m glad and proud to say that a Wisconsin Federal judge shot it (and 4 or 5 other five states) down recently!
These Puritanical dinosaurs are going to go down kicking and screaming, but down they will go! Eventually.
Maybe when marijuana is finally legal everywhere, the uptight will catch enough second-hand smoke to mellow out a bit! 😉

What can you expect? The sixth-circuit court is the most Republican of the thirteen circuit courts. The case will go one of two ways – it will be appealed to either the full sixth court and/or to the Supreme court.
It’s really hard to say what would happen if it gets to the Supreme Court. If SCOTUS upholds the ban, then 21 states (the ones that lost prior court rulings) will re-enact their bans. It will take a decade or more to recover from the damage.
I honestly can’t understand why people vote for the Republican morons who think it’s their christian mission to enforce their version of sharia law.

I guess “United” and “Equality” are not words in American dictionaries…
