I know there can be something very special about American Thanksgiving. Certainly, Thanksgiving is a holiday held in far greater reverence in the United States than it is in many other countries. It seems to be about family — the day before is reported to be the busiest travel day of the year in the U.S. as so many people go “home” for the occasion
