I’m betting that not one of my readers has lodged at the Beverly Hills Hotel since the boycott of that establishment began last spring. But you would have stayed there if it weren’t for the boycott, right?

Yup, me, too.

A refresher: You may recall that the Hollywood set decided not to frequent the Beverly Hills Hotel anymore after its owner, the Sultan of Brunei, brought in Shariah law in his country that could see gay people and women who commit adultery stoned to death.

We’re not hearing much about the boycott these days, and google searches don’t reveal anything new.

So, I’m wondering if my California readers have any insight? Or anybody in the hotel industry?

Do tell . . . Is the boycott still in effect?
