Each night when we lay our heads upon our pillows, we are confident that we will awaken in the morning. And so it goes, night after night, morning after morning, throughout our earthly lives.
Such, of course, is the nature of all living things on Planet Earth, and some believe, of the whole universe.
As above, so below. The universe has its days and nights, and so does everything within it.
So, why then, do we humans so fear death?
Why do so many of us think we will fall into eternal slumber after we shed our mortal coils?
Why do we not trust in the obvious nature of things?

And a man answers: “Because if God did not exist it would be necessary to invent him”. Now for that hot-buttered rum 😛
