In an earlier entry called Quebec, let me turn you on . . ., I posted a YouTube video of a live version of a great song written and performed by Robert Charlebois, joined by the soaring vocals of Louise Forestier, in the late 1960s or early 1970s.

It was the first of a series of posts I planned leading up to La Fête nationale du Québec on June 24, in which I want to highlight the music of this province.

I also came across some vintage photos recently — the one above and the one below.
