We all have pet peeves, of course: the little things that bug us.
One of mine — and I bet I’m not alone with this — is the sound of somebody reaching into a crinkly bag of chips and crunching on them at their desk while I am trying to concentrate on my work at my desk.
In short, I can’t focus on editing news articles when somebody is munching on chips a few feet away from me. I have to stop reading and wait for that person to finish the chips before I can refocus on the job at hand.

I don’t like it when I have pushed the button for the elevator and whilst waiting someone else comes along and presses it. Especially don’t like it if they then continually press it again and again reckoning that will make the elevator arrive sooner!
