Do you follow professional football? Many of the readers here are clicking in from the United States, so I bet most of you remember when Michael Sam “came out” as gay just before the NFL draft that year. You may remember he was selected by, I think, the Rams, but didn’t make the cut.

You probably also know he did get signed by the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League.

Well, he finally played in his first game with the team, and his debut was hailed as a historic moment in professional sports.
