“Standing on the bridge that crosses
The river that goes out to sea
The wind is full of a thousand voices
They pass by the bridge and me”
— Loreena McKinnett, from her waltz on All Souls Night
Light a candle or two tonight for those who have crossed the bridge, as we all will do in due time . . .
Well, that is an interesting interpretive msg.by song.
I love the music. Thanks for sharing this with us.
The music reminds me of a very similar tune that was the start of an TV series called Carnivale. It was set during the Great Depression and Dust Bowl in the US. I really liked the show, feeding my dark side…………..Maybe.
I love the album that song comes from: The Visit.

Damn! She always gives me “the willies” when I listen to her. She truly does invoke something deep inside my soul %)
She sure does. She is very ethereal . . . (as we all are inside these mortal coils, yes?)
