In response to my post about the effort to have a section of Ontario’s Wasaga Beach designated an official clothing-optional zone, reader Matthew Kerwin has very kindly done some digging and come up with the following:
http://www.wasagabeach.com/contacts/council
“Write the Wasaga Beach’s mayor and council via the preceding link. Let them know that you’d spend your tourist dollars there if they had an official nude beach!”
Indeed, I’d like to add that even if you don’t think you could ever travel to the beach, you could still send the mayor a note showing your support for the effort.
This is about standing up for equal civil rights.
Thank you.

It seems that the letters had an impact.

It’s a step in the right direction.

That is very good news. Now, as long as Ontario Parks is OK with it, maybe it will actually come to pass . . .
Thanks for the heads up on this!
