Boo!

Yes, I have been on vacation these past two weeks, and have been Internet data deprived.

Hence, I haven’t been online much and have been relearning what it was like to live in a world with no Internet.

Well, almost no Internet, anyway.

Apart from blogging and accessing emails and my fave news sites, I haven’t missed the Internet all that much. I am far more aware now of what a time suck it can be, especially social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.

So, what have I been doing for the past two weeks?

Swimming has been my No. 1 preoccupation, along with hanging out on the dock of the lake and seeing my Snow White skin turn brown.

Oh, and I finished a novel I had been plodding through since spring. I forced myself to finish it, even though it was badly edited (read: probably not edited at all). Still, I had to know how it ended. I won’t be reading any more books by that author.

Next up on my reading list: Kiss the Girls and Make Them Spy, “an original Jane Bond parody” by Mabel Maney — an author I am already familiar with and happily recommend to everyone who loves parodies.

I have some catching up to do here as well.

Meanwhile, how has your summer been progressing?
