First, thanks to everyone who offered tips and suggestions on buying generators. The power is back on in my house — until the next big gust of wind — and I will keep working on buying a generator.
Meanwhile, I’m thinking that the terrorist, one Sayfullo Saipov, who killed people in the name of ISIS in N.Y.C. on Tuesday must be wishing he had been killed.
No doubt, he was planning on it, thinking he would be some sort of ISIS martyr. But things didn’t work out that way.
He was only wounded by police, so he will recover and face justice, American style.
In other words, he won’t ever be getting out of jail. And in the prison hierarchy, he will be the lowest of the low — the absolute pond scum of the prison system, hated and reviled and scorned by everyone.
So, you know that at 29, he has decades of hell ahead of him, unless some inmate does him in.
While I am a proponent of the death penalty in some instances, in this case it only seems right that he rots for decades in a cell — in the name of ISIS — before he leaves this material plane and faces the justice of karma.
Long after ISIS has been defeated and forgotten, Sayfullo Saipov will still be rotting in his cell.
