I’m hearing rumblings that the #MeToo movement is having a chilling effect on membership in various naturism groups.
Some seem to think Western society is becoming more prudish and, as a result, people — particularly, women — are turning away from social nudism, and groups are having a more difficult time attracting female members.
I don’t have any evidence to support the claims, so I put this question to my naturist readers: Are you seeing a negative effect on social nudism that you link to the #MeToo movement?

After 3 decades of being a home Nudist I finally decided to find out if I was a nudist or an exhibitionist and visited a Nudist Resort. I had converted my wife into a home nudist as well but until now she has refused to join me. She gives me the same answers; weight, looks, shyness.
The MeToo movement is rather new so i’m sure if that is a good reason for now.
At the Resort they are mostly couples, though last year there were 4 young women that showed up for the weekend (it was one of them’s Birthday) and I’m wondering if it was more of a dare than anything else.
