Behold the new, improved blog.
Improved because I can finally show the number of reader comments under the photo and title on the home page, something that readers have requested.
As well, the right-hand column now leads with a list of the names/tags of the 15 most recent commenters, as well as the names of the posts they have commented on.
Other than that, the presentation is very similar to the one that preceded it.

The theme is called Rowling. I tested several yesterday while I was watching the Oscars, including several premium ones. But this one worked best for my needs.

The Oscars were mostly boring. I tuned in only to hear the political speeches, and to see what the general fashion tone was — conservative.

The after effects of Harvey Weinstein are still rumbling I guess. It might also be the consequences of some ill-thought words that seem to put the blame on what a woman chooses to wear. That just my opinion of course, I could be talking complete rubbish.

I like the format, it seems streamlined. But, in the mobile version, I do really miss the drawing of the woman writing at her desk. I always thought that was such a lovely image for this blog.

Uhhh, I still can’t seem to see her. I’m using my iPhone. Maybe it doesn’t fit everything in on such small screens. But, good to know she’s still around!

Ahhh, I’ve found her! I just needed to scroll down further. On my phone she’s right above the New or Latest Comments section.
