It could have been so much worse. The rabble that overran the Capitol Building today could have been armed and very violent.
It could have been a bloodbath.
Still, the incident was shocking, on so many levels.
I’m wondering what my American readers are thinking about it all? And how do you feel about it?

ALOHA JILLIAN: …. HAU’OLI MAKAHIKI HOU/HAPPY NEW YEAR…. i would NOT hold my breath! OAN and NEWSMAX, two stations which make FOX seem almost normal, had the back of the protesters and many people interviewed still support our socio-psychopathic lying, xenophobic, narcissistic, misogynist, bigoted, heinous, reprehensible, deplorable, despicable, disgusting, scum maggot POTUS grump! 74,000000+ voted and still have his back so stand by for the next two weeks!!!…. plus when i posted a meme “….what if it had been people of color…. “. numerous people went after me for my post!!!…. claiming the “antifa” & blm protesters got away with violence, rioting, et al…. enjoy the kafka show…..

The rabble were all talk and no action. They had their few minutes wandering around and then left as soon as the police were serious about removing them. So much for their “we’ll die to save the election” rhetoric. Then they started spouting more on FOX by saying it was Antifa dressed up as tRump supporters that stormed the Capitol building.

That’s why I called them hosers (that’s a Canadian expression). lol. But we should be grateful that it wasn’t worse.

ALOHA JILLIAN: I know you used the word “hoser”; which they were not! They were an insurrectionist MOB! They stormed the Capitol building; the first time since 1812! Even during the Civil War in the 1860’s, with Virginia right across the river, no confederates got inside the Capitol building! Since 9/11, the security is intense! I use to be able to walk right in; now there are road blocks and sharpshooters on top of the building. Fifty+ officers were injured, one women was shot and killed; 3 others died. Of course it can alwayz be worse; but this was sedition by our current sitting President! HOW BAD did you want it to get? We have a fascist as POTUS for two more weeks; who knows WHAT may occur? Will he attack Iran? Had those individuals been people of color, not solidly white people, it would have been a bloodbath! EVERY single person who illegally entered the Capitol were breaking FEDERAL law and some were committing felonies! …. Numerous pipe bombs and guns were found in the building! OH, btw… HAU’OLI MAKAHIKI HOU/HAPPY NEW YEAR….
