In the spirit of counting my blessings and giving thanks on this Canadian Thanksgiving weekend . . .
As I drifted in the twilight zone that precedes sleep last night, I thought for a few moments about the miracle that is Planet Earth, and about the privilege of being born here . . . For this, I give thanks to the Source . . .
I have been enjoying the corn harvest this year more than ever before. We’ve been buying our corn on the cob from a farmer’s roadside stand in Grenville, Quebec. It’s so nice to be able to buy directly from the hands that tilled the fields, sowed the crops and nurtured them. Farming is a tough life; there are easier ways to make a living. Today, I thank that farmer and all the farmers who feed the multitudes . . .
For friendships new and old, and the love of my partner . . .
And for you, the readers who take the time to click into my blog . . .
