On a lighter note . . .

Do you kill spiders when you cross paths with them in your home? Do you catch and release them outdoors? Or do you simply ignore them?

I usually ignore them, knowing that in my neck of the woods, at least, spiders generally do not bite humans. They do trap other insects in the house, though — which is great when the biting insects of summer find their way indoors.

However, if the spiders are really big and yucky, I will catch them in a glass and release them outside.

And you?

I let them be, unless they are really annoying.

Jillian we must be twins… My partner hates them but they are just a bit tickley when you have to catch a big one which has got stuck in a sink bowl…

Depending on circumstances I leave them alone or escort them out.

I live in an 11th floor apartment and get lots of ladybugs for some reason. I shoo them out, because they eat other bugs. 🙂

One place I lived in some years ago featured cockroaches. I did not tolerate them.

Used to ignore spiders, but “someone” chez moi really doesn’t like them, so out they go.
