One of the great discoveries for me that came with joining a nudism/naturism organization is the hot tub experience — I had never been in one. Now, I wonder how I ever lived without it.
During the fall, winter and spring months, my naturism group meets bi-weekly at various swimming pool facilities — there are four in the rotation — that each also have a hot tub as well as a sauna.
I love the communal hot tub experience: there’s nothing like soaking with 85 of your friends, as I did last night in the one pictured above — though, not all at the same time. It seats about 35 people, and it’s not wise to soak in it for much more than 15 minutes at a time. So, after the hot tub, it’s into the swimming pool for a while, then back to the hot tub again.
The only thing I miss in the large communal hot tubs in public facilities is being able to sip on a glass of wine . . .
Which is partially why I’m thinking I would like to have a smaller hot tub at home where I could sip on that glass of wine while soaking with my loved one and friends. But always in the buff, of course. I can’t imagine being in a hot tub with a swim suit on. That just seems to defeat the whole purpose to me — which is to let 104-degree F water soothe as much of your body as possible.
Your thoughts on hot tubs?

We have one, our nudist friends also have one at their homes. They are a great relaxing additive … along with the glass of wine! We hate using hot tubs with suits on and quite frankly … given the choice, we’ll just sit on the side of the hot tub, have the wine and soak our feet, if we can’t be naked.
You can tell the difference in hot tubs where suits are worn and those where suits are not. Our daughter’s previous residence, an apartment complex, had 3 pool and spa(hot tub) complexes. By the end of the day … the hot tubs would have suds a foot high sitting on top of the water … along with a scum line. I think that outdoor showers are a must and those using hot tubs and pools, whether suited or nude … should take a shower before entering … because I have seen nudist clubs/resort hot tubs become cloudy from lotions, sunscreens and perspiration on bodies.
Hot tubs are great. They are great for relaxation, having conversations and making new friends … and I couldn’t see having a home without one and I couldn’t live someplace where I had to wear a suit to use one.

Love them too especially in the nude with other like minded folks.

I love them. There’s a Korean Spa nearby with communal baths that I just adore soaking in.

We bought a tub this summer, I use it every morning to warm up and wake up. Our tub has a no suit rule – so no suds. Best money I ever spent!
