Grow up.

Or maybe: Grow up!

That’s the advice I would give to several world leaders and despots if they sought my counsel.

It’s very simple, really. It’s obvious to anyone looking in. They behave like spoiled, pigheaded adolescents. They’re still the bullies of the school yard. A part of them never grew up.

I’m pretty sure they’re not the type of “children” Jesus was talking about when he reportedly said: “Truly I say to you, unless you change and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.”

I dunno. Maybe it’s just part of the COVID season of discontent. Everybody seems to be affected these days. But it’s one thing to throw away your mask and march in an anti-vaxx demo. It’s another to further murder, plunder, rape, oppress and enslave people — and even risk WWIII.

No, I’m not going to name names and countries here. There are several bullies having their way with nations around the world, several bullies making many, many more lives miserable. Some get more media ink than others. But they all have one thing in common: their leaders and despots commit many acts without the sense of innocence Jesus was talking about.

I don’t know what happened to them. Is it a genetic thing? Are they innocence-deprived because of some chromosomal variation? Or is it about their dicks? Is it all about dick wagging?

I find myself fighting off a sense of resignation. Just get it over with. Fire your dicks, boys. Use the nuclear option. Put mankind out of its misery. If they don’t do it, it will be a slower, albeit more torturous, path to extinction through climate change if not some COVID-19 variation.

It only takes one to end it now. One impulsive moment.

Imagine that.

It’s mind-boggling. But I can grasp the breadth of it. I can almost write the final headline now.

“Morons wipe out mankind”

That would work.

Or how about: “Dickheads wipe out mankind”

What are they going to do, sue me?
